Harborview MOPS

Mothers of preschoolers, you're awesome...

The floor is sticky. You don't know why.

It's time to move the towels from the washer into the dryer

but that would necessitate folding the clothes in the dryer.

Not happening today, sister.

You hear a noise coming from the playroom.

Are they screams of joy or terror?

(Please don't let it involve a Sharpie!)  Hesitantly you enter.

Your 4 y/o and 2 y/o have decided to take all the toys out of the bins

and are throwing them at the window blinds.

Entertainment is cheap in your neck of the woods.

It is only 9:30 AM. The towels.

In the midst of all that "life" you aim to be a mother full of grace and compassion;

a wife full of support, love and the best recipes;

a friend who is available, supportive and mustache free...

MOPS is for you, girlie. MOPS is a community of moms who love and support one another.

Our gatherings are refreshing times of ACTUAL adult interaction.

Your precious kiddos will be cared for and socialized in a loving environment.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is for expecting moms +

moms of children from birth through Kindergarten.

You can find out more about MOPS at: www.mops.org

  • Meet The Team: Joelle Skaar

    1. How many kiddos do you have? I am the mother of 2 beautiful girls.

    2. Why do you love being a mom? Makenna and Nora have reminded me what is so wonderful about life, and to cherish and experience life through new fresh eyes. It's not just a walk to the community park; we're pirates sailing on the high seas. It's not just getting dressed; it's princesses getting ready for a grand ball. Everyday is a new adventure.

    3. What's your greatest struggle as a mom of littles? My greatest struggle at the moment is trying to find a small amount of alone time with myself that doesn't include hiding in the bathroom or pantry!

    4. What's your favorite thing to do when you are kid free? My favorite thing to do when im kid free is to take a hot bubble bath with a good book, or catch up on the phone with a good friend un interupted!!
