Born and raised under the blistering heat of the South African sun, Cedric van Duyn knew from a young age that he would always be taller than almost everyone he would ever meet. He spent his time swimming in the Indian Ocean, terrorizing schoolmates on the rugby field and camping in the hills of  Kwzulu Natal.

Upon a radical salvation experience he decided to commit his life to equipping believers to live empowered lives. 5 years in the trenches of youth ministry, another 5 years as the Pastor of Training and Equipping at Glenridge Church in Durban, South Africa... yet in spite of all of his accomplishments, his life was incomplete.

On an ordinary Sunday morning in September of 2012 a decidedly Latin breeze blew through the doors of Glenridge Church. There she stood. Cedric was grateful that he had decided to wear his extra tight black shirt on that day; it was a worthy medium to display his muscles. Their eyes met across the church.

Their courtship was brief, their wedding an international affair. The van Duyns settled in to their lives as husband and wife in Durban assuming they would spend their lives in Africa. This would not be the case.... to find out more... visit the blog.
